LaunchPad PEI is a non-profit incubator that supports the growth of new technology companies in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Built on a foundation of past success, LaunchPad PEI provides valuable support services in a professional working environment for new companies in Prince Edward Island to grow.
As a designated business incubator in the Startup Visa Program, LaunchPad PEI provides an anchor for foreign businesses to immigrate and grow in Prince Edward Island. Unlike other incubators LaunchPad PEI does not take equity in your company. LaunchPad PEI is here to help you succeed and grow your business in Canada. Dedicated Business Development Officer
As a LaunchPad PEI client, you will be assigned a dedicated Business Development Officer to help guide you in doing business in Prince Edward Island. Your BDO will be a guide through the various government programs available to assist your business. Once we understand your needs and your growth plans, we can identify the funding opportunities that exist to assist your business.
Support Programs through Innovation PEI
LaunchPad PEI originally started as a program offered by Innovation PEI to the PEI startup ecosystem. As a full partner with Innovation PEI in business development, your business can access rebate programs for areas such as Marketing, Capital expenditures, and, if applicable, payroll rebates. These programs are designed to de-risk your growth and ease the cash flow obligations that expansions cause.
Access to Local Network and Partners
LaunchPad PEI has operated in Prince Edward Island since 2002. In that time, we have established networking opportunities and partnerships with other entrepreneurial focused organizations in PEI. This partnerships include links to post secondary education at UPEI and Holland College or business support organizations like the Chamber of Commerce or organizations that assist new Canadians such as the Newcomer’s Association.
